Nancy is a Certified Business Continuity Professional & Auditor with versatile experience and passion for delivering exceptional partner service. Nancy’s experience includes various industries including; financial services, contact centres, operations, workforce management and more.
Through widely recognized relationship management, making the complex simple skills, and a passion for processes that deliver results, Nancy provides additional consulting on internal controls design and assessment, process effectiveness as it relates to good governance. She has a proven ability to champion change to enable sustainable processes for customers, employees and stakeholders.
Nancy is recognized and highly regarded for her ability to adapt and learn quickly and embrace assignments that require compilation of knowledge from various sources.
Nancy possesses a strong background in operations management and 10+ years of staff management combined with a diverse background with experience in training and presentations, process improvement, and enables relevant and actionable recommendations for improvements. Combining process effectiveness, controls management and change management, Nancy focuses on the principle of iterative, continuous improvement to achieve the end goal.
Nancy is a life-long volunteer, having served on her community board of Directors for six years, finishing her term as President, Board of Directors.
She is deeply committed to promoting and advancing the business continuity knowledge and profession, having volunteered for DRI Canada for a decade. She has served on the DRI Canada Board of Directors in the capacity of Chair of the Education Commission; Chair of the Online Learning Steering Committee; Vice President Board of Directors; and is currently the President Board of Directors.
In previous years, Nancy has mentored graduating students from her alma mater transitioning to the workforce and provided significant contributions for fundraising for various children’s charities.
Nancy’s awards include the DRI Canada Board of Directors Achievement Award, Outstanding Leadership Award Recipient, and Security Ambassador.
