To be completed…

So is this the beginning or the end of your front line protection?  Or is it simply a window if you will to let a breeze in, or worst a problem?

Believe it or not, this is the rear perimeter fence for a factory installation.  These two ends of the fence line are approximately 500 metres (1640 feet) apart.  Once inside the fence line (their first line of protection) one would walk for about the same distance to reach the campus buildings.

This opening is accessible from a public road (a dimly lit road at night I might add).  So what are we accomplishing?  If it was a matter of running out of capital funds to complete the job then some re-thinking as to the placement of the fence should have been quickly thought out.  Or at least a plan to rectify the problem and the completion of the fence in future budgets.

If we start leaving holes in our protection strategies albeit security, risk or safety, someone is going to exploit that and it’s going to be costly.  Take a minute to think about your objectives, think about the potential results and put together a complete and comprehensive plan.  It’s worth it to be complete.
